Graduate Recognition Dinner Scheduled

On Wednesday, May 21st from 5:30 - 7:00 PM, Trinity Families, Youth, and Children's Ministries will be hosting the 2008 Graduate Recognition Dinner at the Church. This will be a time of celebration and reflection as well as concentrated prayer for the 2008 graduates and their families as they prepare to make the transition from High School to young adulthood. This will be a church-wide event, and everyone is encouraged to attend.

Parents of graduates are reminded to get pictures of their students to Joe Junquet by May 4th so that he can begin working on the slide show as soon as possible. If you have questions, please call the Church office or see Andy at the Church.

Service Projects Planned

Attention all Youth: On Saturday, May 10th, the deacons have scheduled a Church workday. I thought it would be a good idea if we could get as many of the youth to participate as possible by offering free car washes for members of the Church that same day. We'll meet in the lower parking lot at 9:00 AM and wash cars until about 12:00 Noon. The Church van also needs a good cleaning, so come dressed to get messy as we clean cars for those who are working around the Church or who just need their car washed. Yes, you can bring your own car, too.

Also, Kim has planned a service project for the Jr. High girls. They'll be delivering cookies to some of our senior citizens while the other youth are washing cars. This should be a fun day of projects for all of us - maybe we can plan to go to House of Pizza for lunch together when it's all over.

Let me know what you think.
